Even with her many years of experience, Julia continues to seek educational opportunities to stay on top of our changing profession.

Knowledgeable and capable, but most of all she deeply cares about her clients.
Julia was a co-founder of Hemenway, REALTORS®, along with her husband, James Hemenway, in 1959. Shortly thereafter, Julia received her real estate license. For many years Julia was one of the top selling agents in the area, while managing the office. Today she plays more of a support role but still enjoys helping her clients achieve their needs, dreams and goals.
- Julia enjoys the many satisfied clients who she has served multiple times over the years and the many recommendations these clients have given to their friends to "work with Julia".
- While her son and daughter now own the business and her grandson is also an employee, Julia considers it a privilege to continue to work with the fine crew at RE/MAX Advantage Plus. (The crew considers it a privilege to work with Julia.)
- Julia was instrumental in the founding of the Cottage Grove Board of REALTORS® and served as the president twice. She has also been very active in the Oregon Association of REALTORS®. Many Realtors from other offices often seek her advice.
- Julia is a leader in her church. She helps sponsor several missions. Habitat for Humanity is another pet project along with Community Sharing and other civic efforts.
- She values any work she can do to help those that are needy or suffering and always delights in encouraging children. Julia has 4 (or 6) grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who are very important to her. She also "adopts" all the members of our office and mothers them, too!
